Our Women Build Google group has been created to provide a communication vehicle for people interested in Women Build. It is a place where you can receive WB information and exchange WB ideas. Our intent is to nurture an environment that is friendly, community-minded, helpful, and educational. Using this group forum/mailing list & our web site, everyone should be able to stay informed.
In order to ensure the integrity of Women Build - our group and our individuals - we ask that you please adhere to two fundamental principles when using this forum:
1) Treat others the way you want to be treated
2) Respect everyone's unique contribution
REMEMBER your thoughts and comments are seen by all members. And all postings become part of the permanent archives. We are firmly committed to maintaining a courteous and respectful community environment. Your cooperative spirit and your interest in Women Build are greatly appreciated.

General Google Group Information

After you set up your Google account and join the Women Build group, you may select how you want to get your email messages. The choices are:

To post a new message on the WB Google forum: Start a new topic" Fill in the "Subject." Type your message, then click "Post message." Your message will be sent to a forum moderator. Actual “posting” may not happen immediately. In fact, sometimes it takes several hours. Once posted, a copy of your message is also sent to every member of the group who has selected one of the email options.
- There are two ways to reply to a message:
1)
No Email - read postings on the web
2) Email - send each posted message as it arrives
3) Abridged Email - send a summary each day of any new
activity
4) Digest Email - send all messages in a daily, single
email
1) You may go to the Google group on the web, click "Reply" under the message,
then type away.
2) You may reply to the email you
received that contains a copy of the posting message.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you "reply" to
the email you receive that contains the “posting message,” your reply goes to
everyone in the Google group and - also - shows up on the
forum. This is important to know because, your reply
might be more of an individual matter, such as:
I can work the
fundraiser on Saturday - call me at home to confirm - my cell # is
777-XXXX,
and this is not information truly pertinent to the entire group,
thus, it should not be sent to the entire group. What's more,
you probably do not want your cell phone number exposed to everyone
on the world wide web.
If your situation is such that you want to
reply to only
the author of the message,
you'll need to send a separate, new email addressed just to that one
person. Remember to always check the "To:" line in your email to see
where it is going.
